Our adorable niece, Evey, wore an outfit that I wore when I was a little girl as a flower girl. So happy my mom held on to it for all these years!
After the most original, authentic ceremony I have every attended, we were officially married. Without any rehearsal, our ceremony included an organist playing whatever he wanted, whenever he wanted (starting with "here comes the bride" -which was not on the list- for the wedding party processional, that ended with my dad and me halfway down the aisle), several versions of "you may kiss your bride", and concluded with "I now pronounce you man and wife... but first, let me take a selfie" by the most enthusiastic priest. Perfection.
Then it was back to Villa Pitiana!
Somehow, my hair made it after our trip through the windy roads with the top down from the church!
Next stop, follow us to the reception!
